Adriana Puşcaş, Senior Partner
Adriana PUSCAS is a partner in the firm and deputy coordinator of the corporate and finance department. She has extensive and intense experience as a counsellor in the financial services industry and retail industry, acting for both consumers and companies.
Her current practice includes coordination of mergers and due diligence processes of companies acting in retail and financial services industries, supervising the drafting of all types of standard contracts used by companies in their current activities, advising an EU based bank and an EU based guarantee fund in connection with loans structuring for complex food processing and friendly environmental agricultural projects to be developed by their EU based clients in Romania and a variety of other commercial, tax and business law issues. Adriana has always worked with great patience and skill in avoiding court conflicts wherever possible, dealing with a variety of commercial disputes, civil contracts, inheritance and employment disputes.
Previously to joining the firm and to her first step into the lawyer profession (Bucharest Bar entry exam), Adriana PUSCAS was employed as legal advisor of a local bank and a well known trading company and she also acted as an authorised investment services agent of a local investment firm.
As almost all the members of the firm, Adriana finished one of the most prestigious law schools in Romania – the Law School of Bucharest University where she received her law degree.
Adriana PUSCAS joined the firm in 1998 and she currently serves on the panel of arbitrators for the Bucharest Stock Exchange and as the European coordinator in the board of directors of “Asociacion Europea de Abogados” (Association of European Attorneys - AEA). Adriana was recently trained as a mediator with Craiova mediation Centre and succeeded to pass the exam for mediators. Her knowledge combined with total fairness, respect for boundaries and generosity recommended her as one of the top Romanian women professionals.
Adriana PUSCAS has the right to plead in front of all Romanian courts of law, including the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Constitutional Court.
Adriana PUSCAS coordinates the legal training program of the trainees in the corporate area (including direct and indirect taxation) and financial services (capital markets and securities).
